Hassell | SMXL
Working in collaboration with Fabio Ongarato Design, SMXL is a dynamic response to a crowded hospitality market. A strong architectural language supported by a vibrant graphic environment signals SMXL as a stand-out from other food outlets.
An exposed concrete ceiling, sculptural seating and tables, and the communal arrangement of spaces combine to reflect a fresh approach to eating. Long tables and a continuous bench connect two floor spaces, maximizing seating capabilities within a relatively small space.
Visual clarity and strong consistency of branding elements, such as food packaging, reinforce the clean aesthetics of the interior. Detailing and the general design response suggest that the food experience at SMXL is considered, well crafted and beyond the norm.
