 James and Mau designed Estado Puro, a ‘typical’ Spanish restaurant in Madrid, for Spanish renowned chef Paco Roncero. The key conceptual element is the barrette, a traditional Spanish folklore object.

The combination of traditional elements, clean lines, and a warm color palette creates an ambiance that fits well with Chef Roncero’s traditional, yet experimental cuisine.
