The Mark Brothers are a set of five little figures that help you to identify which cable belongs to what appliance; they can attach themselves to any standard electricity cable. The Mark Brothers came to play one day when we had trouble with one of our computer screens in the studio and tried to unplug it. After accidently unplugging the wrong cable and turning off all the studio’s computers we started looking for a suitable solution for the cable mix up. What we found was that most cable markers were very technical and boring so we started thinking of ways to spice up the cable markers.

The acrobat shape of the mark brothers was a given choice. We wanted to give the mark brothers the feeling of playful movement in between the cables. Each mark brother has his own personality, his way of marking the cable.

We see the Mark Brothers as a family of acrobats traveling the globe, swinging from cable to cable with the soul mission of clearing up which cable belongs to what appliance. You can mark each brother and hang him on the appropriate cable – you will never unplug the wrong lead again!.
