Peter Ruge Architekten | My Bamboom

Peter Ruge Architekten | My BamboomMy Bamboom challenges current models of building citizenship by exploring a new approach to community through economic and ecological development.  At the end of a consumerism on a site in the costal town of Fukui, Japan, the scheme aims to facilitate micro investment for as little as 1 Euro per ‘pixel’, in the growth and use of bamboo forestation. My Bamboom is a platform that builds citizenship through exploration, promotion and guidance of sustainable and environmentally friendly ways to develop unused wastelands.

Architect: Peter Ruge Architekten | Peter Ruge, Kayoko Uchiyama, Matthias Matschewski, Zubin Daboo, Basia Kubicka
