SAQ | Panoramic Hall

SAQ | Panoramic HallEntering the panoramic hall on the fifth floor of the ‘Square Conference Center’, one’s first impression is blinding: the entire space seems to bathe in an overexposed white ambiance. Once the optical balance restored, the spectacular view offered upon downtown Brussels makes the visual effect complete.
The vista forms a perfect background for the various organized events. Perceived from the surrounding city streets, a white glow radiates from the top level.

The outside view playing the leading role in this scenery, everything else is bared down to its strict essence. Only the stretched ceiling reveals a design hand: as an inverted starlit sky, the ceiling is punctuated by black diffusers and direct spotlights. Its modeled surface, in interaction with the light, structures the whole.
Extra techniques such as ambient light and sound are hidden above the stretched ceiling and can be manipulated to slightly change the atmosphere in the room according to the preferable mood of the event.
