X-tu architects had the task of manifesting an architectural space that captured the core of chocolatier Patrick Roger. His edible sculptures explore the delicious material as a medium of state change.
As chocolate changes from solid to liquid and emits a powerful encompassingaroma, so the architecture materializes the sculptural tubes of confectionary delight.
The workshop is characterized by an interior skin of metal tubes that seek to express the voluptuous taste of chocolate while abstracting the sinuous form of the stretched delicacy.Location: Paris, France Architectes: X-TU Architects | Anouk Legendre, Nicolas Desmazières
