Zaha Hadid Architects | Cutlery

Zaha Hadid Architects | CutleryThe tension between the formal architectural research of Zaha Hadid Architects’ and the office’s exploration with industrial design resulted in this unique cutlery set. Each single piece has a formal expression of its own and yet combined they compliment one another as a unified single entity.

Zaha Hadid Architects | CutleryContinuity of sculpted surfaces is regarded with fine detail and forms geometrically complex objects. Accelerated curves normally used in car-design give it an extremely dynamic presence. The cutlery is forged from solid stainless steel that is polished to a mirror finish. The thickness of the material is extreme in some parts, allowing each item of the set to be ergonomically well balanced.
