The lamp was created for “The Fresh Light of Corian” exhibition organized by DuPont during Milan Design Week 2011. The event familiarized us with creative combination of materials, sources of light and unique aesthetic. The purpose of the exhibition was to provide a fresh innovate input to lighting design by presenting vide variety of imaginative lighting objects.
The project is a work about connection between the innovate materials and technologies. The aim was to create a lightning object presenting Corian features like translucency and malleability. RGB light source provides the lamp with wide variety of colors. By introducing the light bulb drawing we created a link between the old and the new light sources.
MOOD is a free standing object made from translucent Corian. The details like the light bulb and plug are made from mat/ red/ 5mm Corian.Location: Bucharest, Romania Concept / Project: aastudio | Alex Adam, Roger Pop, Monika Koryczan
