The San Marino based brand, ALL+ has been awarded the TÜV SÜD certificate for its Loco bench, thereby confirming its original specialisation in urban furnishings with a high quality content and beguiling design. For the first time ever, the TÜV SÜD (TÜV stands for Technischer Überwachungs-Verein, meaning Technical Control Association) performed both European and American tests on this type of product.
Loco passed all these tests with flying colours (fatigue, toughness, load, impacts, weather distress, stability) and now boasts a certificate which testifies to its compliance with European standards EN 15373:2007 and with US standards ANSI/BIFMA X5.4-2012. ALL+ thus officially confirms the top quality of a product made in compliance with international quality and safety standards and with manufacturing processes designed to guarantee long-lasting quality.
The Loco bench was the launchpad for an entire modular system of urban furnishings, designed by Ivan Palmini. The bench, which is ideal for waiting and recreational areas, offers maximum flexibility and modularity: it is available in 18 different lengths (from 120 cm for the two-seater to the extraordinary 6 metre-long 20-seater model); the seats can be applied on one side only or on both sides; the seat itself can be either flat or curved, and the backrest featuring one or two slats. The frame is made of anodised aluminium and steel, while the upholstery is in several materials, including wood, rubber, plastic and laminate, allowing you to create the perfect product to match your particular styling and functional needs, and each slat can be further customised with graphic features, photos, advertisements and various colours. In addition to the bench, the Loco urban furnishing system includes accessories, such as a Wi-Fi console frame, a table, a bicycle rack, horizontal and vertical signs, totems, bollards, open and covered bins.
The materials used, namely anodised aluminium and steel, are the same as the bench and ensure consistent styling and shapes. The anodised aluminium, in particular, is a light, malleable and yet strong material, with significant properties, including resistance to atmospheric conditions as well as insulating qualities – it resists the heat from the sun, is rain-proof and adapts to sudden temperature changes – and it is consequently ideal for products intended for outdoor public use, including intensive use.
