Black & Cork | SNAP

Furniture SONY DSC

SNAP is a highly elegant and functional small piece of furniture, an occasional table collection in two different sizes.

SONY DSCSNAP means cracked lines… a notion of fragility.

SONY DSCThe structure of this piece tended to a geometric direction full of contrast and expression by the jagged edges of the legs and the round top, creating what the designer called “a graphic zigzag and a structural light appearance all the way”.

SONY DSCThe materials mdf and cork fulfil the entire Design. The material mix is an inspiration to the senses, from the aesthetics to the touch.

SONY DSCThe Designer “kept it conservative” when it came to colour. He meant once again to create a “shocking” contrast… classic black lacquer for the structure, like a piece of wood that have been burned, contrasting with the organic lively and light cork tones.
