Concrete Architectural Associates | LairesseConcrete took the client’s statement ‘It’s all right to change everything; all I need is a chest of drawers’, as its jumping-off point, because the only way to organize a pharmacy is by means of drawers for storing medications. In addition to conventional medicines, De Lairesse Pharmacy has one of the largest ranges of alternative medicines in the Netherlands.

At the pharmacy, customers are encircled by drawers filled with both synthetic and natural medications. This generates confidence and a sense of mental and physical well-being. The interior of the pharmacy uses a clear mix of materials, because Concrete took the client’s vision literally.
