Daniel García & María José Vargas for Woodendot | Ka Lamp CollectionFounded by designers Daniel García & Maria Jose Vargas, Spanish company Woodendot creates wooden furnishing and accessories, based on honesty and harmony between its work and the nature itself. Woodendot manufactures handmade quality products which are timeless and durable. Ka is the name of its first collection, a lamp family composed of XL, M and S, which has different typologies; ambient, reading and table lamp. These lamps are made from natural materials with a special careful attention to details, and stand out for the use of leather, its sleek lines and metal lampshade.

Essential is the minimal version and Functional provides a leather natural shelf and a touch of color on its legs. Black and white are the finishes for both versions. Their design studio is located in Madrid and the production is made in Íscar, a small town in the heart of “Tierra de Pinares”, Valladolid, whose people have always been dedicated to traditional woodwork. The designer-craftsman link, where the knowledge and experience of both converge, add value to the final product.
