Furniture EOOS for Keilhauer | TALK

EOOS for Keilhauer | TALKThe seating series TALK is the latest result of the North American furniture manufacturer Keilhauer and the Austrian designers EOOS. Keilhauer presents the series, which calls for more face-to-face communication, for the first time at the furniture fair NeoCon in Chicago.

TALK stands for a new typology of benches, chairs and tables that encourage direct and personal dialogue. The bench has a V-shape seat that angles inward to enhance the natural position of two people talking. Additional single seat chairs can be grouped in between, to create many sitting combinations and scenarios. In open-plan environments the lounge collection offers intimacy in a human scale.

The high backs of TALK function as a paravent, which dampens the noise of the surroundings. The distinctive silhouette of the series defines a “room within a room”. In our world, which is so strongly marked by digital, indirect communication, the series TALK by EOOS for Keilhauer is a statement for more personal interaction, or as CEO Mike Keilhauer makes the point: “Talk more, text less!”
