Furniture Galeazzo Design | World Cup Bench

The World Cup Bench, idealized by Galeazzo Design, takes the shape of the ball panels from the 1970’s Mexico World Cup ball as a starting point to the conceptual development of the piece, which is made through CNC technology. In the top view of the object there is a direct correspondence with the geometry of the ball, in the other hand, when observing the object three-dimensionally the ball panels become recesses or elevations defining the seats and backrests, creating a provocative shape.
