Architecture MINIMART_VRTEC_08

The building of the new kindergarten is located in the village Selo near Ajdovscina in Slovenia. Newly constructed facility is located on the existing site of the old kindergarten and maintains contact with an adjacent building on the northwest side.

The new building has over 260 square meters of internal space, two playrooms (the first and second age bracket) with the common central space and all necessary service facilities.  Both playrooms have also an outdoor terrace and access to the playground. Rooms in the kindergarten are functionally designed according to the age of children.

Playful facade is designed with application of a stylized dandelion.
