Ceci n’est pas une lampe!

A broken bulb can not function, or… ?

This lamp plays with the stereotypes of our daily lives which are imprinted in our minds. By clever use of a high power LED, lamp becomes shade, and the impossible becomes possible.

The bulb is hand-blown from heat resistant Pyrex glass, and therefore without sharp edges also safe to touch. The used power LED is an environ-mental friendly and virtually indestructible light source compared to an average incandescent bulb.

Designer: Sander Mulder
Dimensions: 110 x 60 mm
Weight: 150 gr
Material: Pyrex bulb, high power led, transformer
Photographers: Niels van Veen & Sander Mulder
