_DSC1400 (Large)Herzl is an open-ended collection of ceramic products which includes boxes, vases, candelabras and bowls. All the products are made by casting into moulds made on cheap plastic toys from Herzl St. Tel Aviv. The products are created in an endless game in which toy parts are put together, and are chosen to enter the collection according to criteria of form and usage.

Out of the urn bursts
The jug and out of the jug
Bursts the vase and out of the vase
Bursts the vase genie
The rightful owner of the jug
The prisoner of the urn

We work in plastic
Plastic works for us
These are the teachings of the century
These are the hidden secrets
Of the Chinese toy
