IL BARETTO is an innovative space located in the central spot of Heraklion city.

Is a cosy café – bar, which is offered either for drinks or snacks.

The small space was a challenge for TECTUS DESIGN interiors, since the bar area is just 30 square meters.

For the design have been blended different materials harmoniously, aiming to a warm atmosphere. Wooden wall covers, light blue colours, the high ceiling and the specially designed lighting fixtures give il baretto a retro style.

The bar is housed in a listed historic building and the mosaic floors are maintained. Highlights of the decoration are the wine cellar made from wooden pallets and the long stair style table at the entrance of the bar.

Location: Heraclion, Crete, Greece
Architect: Tectus Design
