Blessed with a unique, modern and conceptual architecture, architects Evelise Tellini Vontobel and Natasha Tellini Vontobel were hired for a new inspiring project: renovating an apartment in Punta del Este /UY with a fantastic view of the sea. The concept was to create a contemporary space, giving it the feeling of spaciousness and optimizing for visitors. The use of slatted wood walls in the living gave its language, which has integrated all spaces, including a barbecue on the balcony overlooking the city harbor.
The need to have enough living space, resulted on the drawing of a dining table for 10 people and a living room with large sofas , armchairs and beanbags . In the porch area , a lounge with sofa and a low table was also created for the family contemplating the visual . The furniture has different origins, including pieces that were imported from Denmark and panned in Uruguayan antiques , giving priority to items from the 50s , 60s and 70s.
The bedrooms were also renovated and the beds made of iron, gave a special touch to the decor. The side tables all different from each other also added value the rooms project. Important also to remember that some objects owned by the family , such as paintings and carpets, were used in the project . The lighting design also developed by the architects , was created with the brands Flos and Deltalight.Location: Punta del Este, Uruguay
