Housing titally redistributed with the premise of sheltering simultaneously a professional office freed of the same one. Environment atemporal, neutral and relaxed. Natural oak wood, white colors, creams, black and punctually pistacho. Carpentry of wood in white lacquered dm and game of volumes in the ceramics used in pavements of humid zones, terrace and appeased of vertical paraments. The photographic work, sculptures (of mud and wood), materials of tiled, etc. They help to obtain a relaxed space, which meets altered with brushstrokes of fornasetti’s work. In the housing classic elements of the design coexist with contemporary pieces in perfect harmony.
The shelf suspended as one accedes is of the signature Martínez Otero. On this one, both plates in the wall, acquired in l’eclarieur of Paris, belong to the series ” theme and variations ” of Piero Fornasetti. The series of fornasetti repeats itself in the bathroom of comity and protagonist occupies a paper in the rest of the house, since also in the kitchen the whole front of the bench has been tiled faced on having been with ceramics produced by the signature “bardelli” on the same topic. In philippe starck’s words ” fornasetti’s object has the power to change the vibrations of a place “.
The series ” theme and variations ” was developed by the author from a woman’s face that he discovered in a french magazine, and the face resembles the expression of a greek statue or even the mona lisa. The girl was called Lina Cavalieri. Other elements of the access are the umbrella stand “window” of the signature “viccarbe” or the lamp “take” of the signature “kartell”. A clock of the signature “vitra” designed by George Nelson and Eileen Gray’s little table they complete the composition of place.
The table of the dining room, in black glass, is Eduard Samsó’s design for “abr”. The chairs of dining room are the classic one of Mies van der Rohe. The lamp of dining room is the model “arco” designed by Castiglioni in 1962, one classic one produced by the signature “flos”. Several elements of the valencian signature “viccarbe” appear in this space: sofa “berry” designed by Studio VCCB; stool “last minute” designed by Patricia Urquiola and in the corner of reading, sofa like “chaise” model “levit” of Ludovica and Roberto Palomba. The furniture close to the access to the terrace belongs to the collection Martínez Otero’s “horizon” designed by Pearson Lloyd. Of the same collection they are the little tables of the principal bedroom.
The little tables of the lounge are different classic of Marcel Breuer. The shelves of the zone of reading are realized in dm white lacquer. The bench of the kitchen is of black silestone and the kitchen is realized by foreheads of formic white sheen and wings of multicap of birch. For what it concerns to the lighting, the adjustable areas of the lounge – dining room, they allow to regulate the light in orientation and intensity, which allows to create different environments. They are the model “metro” of “iguzzini”. In the rest of the housing the lighting has chosen to unify by a device halogen of the valencian signature “arkoslight”. The ceramic sculpture sat on the rack of the lounge, as well as the cavity on the table of dining room, they are of roser oter and the sculptures of carved wood belong to ramon sales.
The color pistachio refers to the nature. The plates are of fornasetti. The light-fitting like “angel” is ingo maurer’s “lucellino”. A generous mirror, of equal width of the door of access, serves for turn of entire body, and it annuls the existence of a mirror on wash basin.
A wall lined in vinyl of the signature “vescom” acts like bed head-board. The same lining extends towards the interior of the bath creating a game of volumes. The carpentry, both of the cupboard and of the sliding doors, is realized in dm white lacquer and guards the same modulation, creating a ” mathematical order ” inspired by the ” order that governs the nature “. The lamps are the model “tolomeo” produced by “artemide”.
The mediterranean plants (lemon tree, orange tree, olive trees, … etc), in two tones of color and worked at two heights, are adapted by the orientation and environment of the terrace.
