The 1288 SF, 2 BR, 1 bath full-time home for a couple and their son is a one floor side by side, two module standard weeHouse.

The clients added a corner screened porch to the design to take advantage of the scenic and lovely wooded site. Upgrades include in-floor hydronic heat for efficiency, a wood burning fireplace and bolt-on awnings. weeHouse standard specs include EPDM rubber roofing, “container” siding, and IKEA kitchen cabinets and storage units.

The weeHouse sits on a tuck under foundation which holds a garage, work room, and fitness room. Set in an afternoon, the project manager, clients, and an amazing support team of friends and relatives zipped up the interior finishing work in a few days to help keep costs down.

Location: Cobleskill, New York, USA
Architect: Alchemy Architects, home of the weeHouse
Living Area: 1288 sqft
Project Year: 2008
